The Sony A6000 and the A5100 are practically the same camera as far as image quality, video resolutions, autofocus, etc. The subtle difference of the viewfinder vs the flip up screen isn’t huge, but it’s enough for me to lean on the A5100 for my video needs. I’d say if you’re a photographer, go for the A6000, and if you’re a videographer, go for the A5100. Again, this is my opinion!
