Brooklyn Mosque shooting this afternoon... A Musalee (worshipper) in his late forties was injured in a shooting incident at Brooklyn Mosque during Jumuah proceedings this afternoon. SAPS Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi confirmed that Maitland police are investigating an attempted murder case. 'Reports suggested that unknown armed men entered the premises, fired numerous gunshots, which resulted in the victim sustaining gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
