The back extension machine is super versatile when used the right way. By placing the pads under the hips it allows for more range of motion at the hips and more glute recruitment. 🍑🍑When you place the pads above the hip bones it lock down the hips and places the focus on your back (mid to lower).To add in some upper back movements I would suggest doing Y or T as you lift up as shown in the video.
