Jul 6, 2023 · First replacement after about 1.5 years was December 2022. Walmart used their system to verify that the battery was bad. Second replacement probably early June 2023. Third failure (diagnosis of a bad battery by Walmart) was today. It quit starting the vehicle about a week ago. Thus about one month in service before failure.

Dec 2, 2020 · I felt the bottom and it was hot. About that time the camera shut down. Opened it up and the batteries were melting into goo in the camera. Ruined. Spypoint said it was bad batteries. Costco refunded the batteries ($20) Costco said the camera was bad and drew too much power. I was out $300. Lithium is your friend.

Nov 26, 2024 · Bad idea. That battery is designed for a certain discharge rate. Jumping a vehicle is hell on batteries and it's best to use one designed for that purpose. The M18 batteries are designed to run a tool for a longer time. This is a good way to damage a battery and end up with a fire that you then blame on China.

Mine doesn't get much use but I think I'll always own one as a good, reliable, politically acceptable weapon to have for times when things go badly. Sure a semi-auto has all kinds of advantages, but a fella could do a lot worse than to be armed with a lever action rifle.
