2024年6月24日 · VGA to HDMI Monitor Issues Trying to get an old vga monitor (Hpvs17) to display as a second monitor for my laptop using a vga to hdmi adapter. Windows detects the monitor perfectly down to the model and reccomended resolution and acts like the monitor is there when I extend the displays it just will not display on the actual monitor itself.

2024年4月30日 · The laptop was connected to the docking station by USB-C port, which connected to the monitors via VGA/VGA cable (Monitor A) and HDMI/VGA cable (Monitor B). This was the same for both personal and work laptop, (Work laptop is on Windows 10 Pro, Personal laptop is on Windows 11 home)

2016年11月29日 · Now, Windows does indeed think it's connected to an external monitor. Everything about windows says so - there's two icons in display. I can move things to other monitor. But, the monitor doesn't agree. It's blinking in standby. If I unplug VGA from monitor, it realizes it. If I unplug adapter from Windows, it realizes it.

2021年2月22日 · Hello, I have a old monitor LG with HD Ready. In Windows 7 I put it in 1680x1050 without problems (connecting directly by VGA). Using an VGA - HDMI adapter I put it in 1680x1050 in Ubuntu without problems, but in Windows 10 I only put it in 1240x768. If I try to put it in a higher resolution, the message "out of range" appears.

2020年6月29日 · The newer monitor is displaying fine, however the older VGA monitor is not so cooperative. I connected it and the monitor is now telling me "Input Signal Out of Range: Change Settings to 1600x900 - 60 Hz." 2015年1月28日 · In 'screen resolution' the LG is recognized as monitor 2 with the recommended resolution (1680 x 1050). In NVIDIA Control Panel the LG is also recognized as monitor 2 with the good resolution. I use a dongel VGA - > HDMI. Problem: monitor doesn't get any video input and goes into power saving mode. I've updated the driver for the LG-monitor.

USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter (BENFEI USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter) I've installed the drivers it came with but am getting a screen that flickers every hour or so with the USB Adapter and my display port to VGA monitor shuts off and the only way to get it back on is via plugging the cable back in.
