Yeah, the game can be quite hard to beat and it does have its share of flaws like the medal system and lack of drop shadows, but it still does represent some of the finest that 3D Sonic has to offer surpassed only by the likes of the Adventure games.

It's entirely possible, with the help of Xenia emulator and Generations PC for reference, but despite Generations having said native PC port, no one has reverse engineered the game or engine yet.
