2024年7月12日 · As we know, part of figuring out the marble puzzle is figuring out where the marbles go based on how they match up to the island "tetris pieces." There is a diagram in a journal - I believe it's in Gehn's office - that shows a 5 point star, pointing to the golden dome, with each point of the star paired to a tetris piece.

2024年7月4日 · Stare at the marble polisher in the center of Gehn's Lab for 15 real-world minutes. Place the geode into the geode cutter (3), then turn the crank below it to cut it open. This will cut the geode in half and show the marble on the inside. Pick up the marble and place it inside the machine next to the geode cutter.

Riven Complete Walkthrough - Myst Journey
Follow the pathway to the elevator and press the button to go up. At the top, walk forward to the map puzzle. The purpose of this area is to find the location of the five marble domes located on each of the islands. Press one of these buttons and turn around to find an extended pathway to the building where you can map out the islands.

2013年1月7日 · With Riven, it was more like... learn the D'ni numbers, because... well fuck it, there's a toy here that teaches them. And then you somehow end up needing it (IIRC for reading Catherine's journal). Learn all the different eyes, and then go use them for something else.

2024年7月7日 · Actually, the first screenshot you took of the math from Gehn's lab is the one you need for the fire marble puzzle, not that one. If you think about it, one of Gehn's devices is more likely to use Gehn's native numbering system, while a Moeity device is more likely to use a Rivenese/Moeity number system.
