2020年1月20日 · The rikon 70-3040. It has an electric sliding bed. the swing is usually 25 3/16 and when you extend the bed it goes to a 31 13/16 swing. No price info on it yet, but it’s cool.

2014年12月15日 · That money puts me most of the way to something like a Rikon 70-100, so I've started to do a little research, thinking that a new lathe might end up coming before a new drill press. It seems like the Rikon 70-100 is a good lathe from my research, but I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with the Rikon 70-100? If so, what do you think of it?

2017年9月15日 · The belt changes on this particular 70-100 appear to be very easy, and I like the 6 speeds that is has, 430,810,1230, 1810, 2670 and 3900. I like that the Rikon has a 5.7 amp motor which should be adequate. I also like the 5 year warranty on the Rikon.

Just a note on the Rikon 70-220 vsr lathe. It has apparently been discontinued which is unfortunate. I've had mine for over 5 years and have zero complaints. They are now selling a 70-150 (smaller) and the 70-1420 (larger) lathe. 70-1420 does have a 1.5hp motor which is nice. Based on one price I've seen, it's around $1000 +/-.

2020年11月20日 · With the lathe in short mode, it is a 17" (swing over banjo) x 20" lathe with a small footprint. In long mode, it is 17"x40" spindle or a 30" swing by a few inches platter/tabletop lathe. Doing the tabletop without having to add a drop-bed-extension or rotating the head stock sound useful if that is what you want to turn.

2012年5月2日 · The other day I was looking through the tools on my local craigslist and I saw an add for a Rikon 70-100. This is the same lathe that I bought back in February minus the variable speed and this one has an indexing head. The lathe also included a full eight piece set of Benjamin's Best tools.
