The Sage is a fairly stiff, fast rod that can easliy take being overlined a bit, and the Marryat is a more moderate action, but handles a WF4F really well.

2019年4月12日 · The Rio Single Hand spey is more of a short integrated scandi line and the 5wt line is actually a 7wt, but I can't really tell a difference when casting it. Its a little pricey but it handles very well and seems to be very durable. For me its definitely the better line. You can also over hand cast with it. I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

Should I be looking at Skagit or Scandi type lines? The SA Spey Lite Scandi is closer to Rio's SHS and probably closer to what you're looking for versus the Skagit.

When in doubt, get the bigger alternative. Spey lines, especially the long-belly versions, suck up huge amounts of reel capacity, especially over 150-200 yards of 30# dacron or 35# gellspun.
