My Bedliner Experience - U-POL Raptor Liner - Jeep Wrangler Forum
Dec 29, 2014 · My dad has a decent size shop space that I was able to use and he also has a air compressor. These factors along with many reviews lead me to chose to go with the U-POL Raptor liner. Here are my thoughts and experiences of the project: I am 17 years old and I am fairly knowledgable when it comes to tools, cars, etc.
Anyone thinking about using Raptor Liner, please read.

May 4, 2011 · Raptor is easy to apply, and its adherence is excellent. (I used an etcher on my aluminum tub before I coated it with the bed liner.) DO IT! Seriously, the stuff is great. Easy to shoot, looks great, and is durable. One note, I wouldn't apply it (or any other top coat) directly over etching primer as mentioned above.

Dec 14, 2020 · Raptor Liner is tough and is supposed to help spread a point load of several inches of the body, whereas the underbody coatings are rubberized (raptor liner may have some rubber in it) and the onject bounces off rather than spreads the load.

Apr 6, 2013 · Once completely dry, it took about 1.5 cans of the Rust-Oleum bed liner to get them done. I have about 4 coats on both. The final coat I held the rattle can about 2ft away to make sure to get a good texture on them.

Mar 12, 2021 · I talked to a buddy of mine and he said a few people just sand it and spray bedliner on the hood because it looks “cool” and it can help with sun glare too. I was looking up some videos of guys on YouTube that spray the entire truck with raptor liner or something along those lines but I don’t know if I would want to do that.
