2019年12月1日 · My 15 threw threw P2187 and P2189 for a lean condition and it was the Passenger side valve cover breather, vacuum leak. Dealer verified with smoke test and ended up replacing the valve cover (LR109354) under warranty. I didn't notice any drivability issues. I too was up against a long trip but had time to get it serviced.

2020年3月18日 · I'm getting my engine motor light on. When I get to my mechanic, they use a code reader looking for codes P2187. They told us about System Too Lean at Idle Bank 1 and 2. First they tried to erase the code and Engine motor light comes off but Eco mode light comes on. After few minutes Engine motor light comes on again.
High LTFT and Low STFT with lean P2187 code on RR Velar.

I went to change the valve and there is a huge rubber gasket squished out the side of the valve cover that is blocking my ability to remove the existing PCV Cap.

I was thinking a vacuum leak and I hear some slight hissing from the do-hickey on the passenger side valve cover gasket, but hard to tell if that's normal at idle. What was the resolution in your case Delta V? hmmm - Delta V sounds like an automation problem?

2009年8月16日 · Another update: Replaced the DMTL pump last night, still no good. I tore into the RF wheel well also, and found some corrosion caused by what appears to be battery fluid sloshing about on the trail (definitely switching my starting battery over to AGM soon).
