We are using the following tools; Science Logic, Splunk and New Relic but certainly your response should not focus on these monitor tools but those that your company uses. Jul 15, 2024 · Hi All . i have a couple of older esxi 5.1 dell servers my host laptop running the vsphere clients failed so i have tried to reinstall the client on a new pc - installs ok but when trying to access the hosts - i get cant download the required support files from vmware vspshere .com

Jul 5, 2019 · New installation of VMware-VCSA-all-6.7.0-13643870.iso. Nothing has really been configured. Just logging in for the first time. It says "vSphere Health detected new issues in your environment". The choices are Acknowledge or Reset to Green. The problem is the warning doesn't provide more information. What are the new issues?

How to create new VM from existing vm in datastore on ESXI
Now create a new folder (NewVM) in the data store. After creating the new folder, open the VM folder that you want to copy. Create Copy of Existing Virtual Machine in ESXi Server. Paste the copied files to the newVM folder. After finishing copying the files, right-click the VMX file and click add to inventory. Now, new dialog box appears.
hard drives not showing up in ESXi Host | ESXi - Broadcom
Dec 8, 2017 · You'll want to do it in the BIOS, but you may need to go into ESXi and mount the new configuration (I don't know how to do this), or reboot the machine so ESXi sees the new drive and mounts it automatically. I added drives to my Dell servers in the past and if I remember correctly, once the raid config was setup, vCenter saw them no problem.
