There are nine of them, released as part of the show's 25th anniversary. I got seasons 1-3 later and considered taking my Time Life DVDs to Goodwill but there are several season 4-5 eps on them (ironically, one is the Star Wars Muppet episode with Luke & the droids that as a kid I waited for months to be broadcast ).
Are the Muppet Show Season 1, 2 and 3 DVDs of high quality
2022年12月30日 · Season 1 is censored. Several episodes are missing musical numbers and skits. 2 and 3 are complete if I remember correctly. The better option is the Time Life dvds, but since they only have a few episodes per dvd they can be pricey to get a whole set. (And either way you can't get the whole show on disc.)

2021年1月19日 · The music is such an integral part of the Muppet Show, that I can't imagine how they could be cut. Each episode would be 5 minutes practically, so I hope they got it all straightened out. They did release the first 3 seasons on DVD, complete with everything, but that last release was many many years ago.

Unfortunately due to rights issues with the music and other segments, it's highly unlikely -- it's frankly a miracle Disney was willing to shell out to get The Muppet Show on there, and that show has a lot larger fanbase of nostalgia than Muppets Tonight does (pretty much hardcore Henson/Muppet fans).

2021年7月17日 · There are the season 2 and 3 dvds in 480p, but I can't remember if they have the UK spots (#1 set is censored). If they do, then all that would be missing are any censored episodes from seasons 4 and 5 that don't have TL versions. There are TV recordings of every episode available but not all have UK spots.

2020年9月29日 · For an example, the wikipedia article here lists the aired date, but the muppet show wiki lists the order on the DVDs. To fix this: Go to the show's page in Plex(the whole show, not just the season). Hit Edit->Advanced Under Episode ordering, choose "The TVDB (DVD)" and save. BORK BORK BORK!
