Jumping into this because the question gets to a question I had, as a newbie to this Total War. Am I understanding correctly that the different options, when I click "new game" that shows Americas, Teutonic, etc...are the "kingdoms" you all mention? I mean, unlike Warhammer 2, the DLCs basically gave you a completely different game?

Locate the Medieval2.exe file, duplicate it and rename kingdoms.exe Then test that.

2024年1月16日 · If you only patched medieval2 then you will be fine for the main game and the DLCs. Unless mods use the universal batch file of mine which uses medieval2 when running steam and kingdoms when running disk you may find yourself looking at teh same performance issue again unless you patch kingdoms.exe as well.
Unpacking the KINGDOMS campaigns :: Total War: MEDIEVAL II
2021年3月26日 · I've finally been able to figure out how to use the unpacker for the base game. However, when I want to unpack the files for the Teutonic Campaign it only seems to unpack about 2 extra files in the data folder, instead of all the other files. How does one fix that issue? I've wanted to edit the buildings for Norway to make them actually recruit units.

I’ve looked everywhere and i can’t find any help, it’s not “bundled in my medieval 2 game and there are 4 more options under medieval 2 in steam” like a different post said It seems something went wrong with the installation of it.
