2018年11月27日 · For anyone that has a Lowrance HDS Gen 2 unit and installed the fix that this thread talks about - the GPS functionality is no longer working as of April 7 2019. In order to get the GPS functionality back you have to install an older version of the software.

2007年1月28日 · The M-68 is basically an X-67 with a gps. The downside to the gps is that it does not have upgradable mapping capability. If you are considering getting it because of the gps, you would be better off with a handheld and then get and x-67 or go with a true multifunction unit like the lms 337. Just depends on your needs.

2024年10月27日 · I got a Lowrance Elite 5ti, which was the most affordable side scan equipped unit I could find, and it works fine, but is a bit complicated. It's only a 5 inch screen, but the fish don't care. I use cheap handheld GPS mounted next to it to make the most of the screen for sonar. The GPS also has the waypoints I've saved over the years.

2020年6月24日 · I have had poor customer service with Lowrance on 2 of their units I purchased.After having to send the units in more than 2 times for the same problems not counting waiting 2 plus months to get the units back(not repaired), I finally asked for a refund and had to settle for partial refunds due to so called units being past warranty time.

Do your homework on the full capabilities of the MotorGuide/Lowrance combo and compare against the full capabilities of the Minn Kota/Huminbird combo. If you use a Lakemaster map chip in a Bird, you can select a contour line and the motor will follow it.
