2021年9月15日 · Rest of MGM lockset. Driver lock is straight swap, done. Rod to the lock can be a little tricky to release. If you manage to break the plastic rod clip like I did at the junkyard, the part can be replaced. MGM trunk lock housing is taller than CVPI so will not fit. Damn. Will have to figure out how to remove lock from housing to make the swap.

The factory part was identical to the Lares part, except the factory part used a T-40 socket and the New one used a 6mm Allen socket. Just play around with some socket adapters to get around the oil filter threads.
