LED light bar as a headlight? - Adventure Rider
2011年1月25日 · the new XM-L T6 that just came out is insanely bright.. At 3amps it puts out about 900lumen.. my one XML flashlight is brighter than my truck's (crappy) headlights. I have been trying to figure out a way to mount 6 or so XM-L's into a light bar for my dirt bike.. it would only draw about 60watts, but outshine the sun.

2016年7月26日 · complete canbus integration. activate the unit by pressing turn signal cancel for 5sec. adjust the aux light brightness with the wonderwheel & more stuff i just cant remember. likely MSRP around $150 i also help design & use this for my brake lights. added a couple of skeen lights and they all flash and brake at the same time.

I looked up other sites and it appears this kit includes: 63 17 9 457 322 LED Nano lights, 77 51 1 542 180 Set of brackets for additional LED headlights and 61 12 8 395 601 wiring harness. Price appeared to be quite a bit lower in Europe, but one German site listed this kit as "expired", no longer available.

Do you need more light, LED’s are a good solution, cheap LED units can be found for around $20 and up, good LED’s can be more than your car payment.

2009年3月19日 · (In comparison, the older HID/"xenon" style brights threw out a LOT more light in the same headlight armature. But they're a pain in the ass in other ways. ) So I've gone back to a halogen H4. I'd skip the 100W bulbs, sure lots of light but lots of power draw for puny airhead electrical systems and indeed lots of heat.

Stock light on low beam 4.12 amps or 51.5 watts. High beam stock light 4.56 amps or 57 watts…this bike had a 55/60 bulb. New LED low beam 0.89 amps or 11.125 watts. New LED on high beam 1.60 amps or 20 watts. And to take it one step further, I added a 2000 lumen LED light bar to the high beam (both on full) 2.02 amps or 25.25.

The lower location will provide more usable light in that pattern vs. a Driving/Combo. I will post a "parts list" below with lights, mounts, and dimmer wiring for the crash bar ...
