Stay away from any gadget tools or multi tools and you'll do fine. Around Xmas is when all the garbage comes out of the woodwork but our regular stock tools are good. I own a whole mixed bag of tools ranging from Harbor Freight to Snap-On and use many of them regularly. My Kobalt ratchets, sockets, impact sockets and wrenches have lasted.

2022年2月21日 · Kobalt is made for Lowes by Chervon - who own and make the Ego yard tools. They also make the new Flex brand of tools, and the Skil line of 20v & 12v tools you see at Lowes. Ego is very well regarded, and their battery tech is shared through all these brands. I've used some of the 12v Skil and I really like them.

2023年2月9日 · Always call Kobalt before going to the store and get a reference number for replacement. Also, Kobalt has a real issue with releasing new tools. They average about 2-3 new tools per year. So, if your looking for a platform with an abundance of variety you may want to look elsewhere. So far all the tools in their line-up have met my needs.

Kobalt Hand Tools Recently picked up all of the newly engineered ratchets by Kobalt. I originally wasn't going to as I prefer the old handle way more than the new one but the slimmer heads and necks along with the recessed hardware are definitely noticeable improvements.

Once you get a large amp-hour battery the tools solo are dirt cheap. I buy 2 reconditioned ones from Home Depot and return one just in case parts are missing or one is banged up. Ironically, the chainsaw came with the cheapest, least powerful battery, but the trimmer came with the most powerful...they want you to buy the $130 5.0ah battery.
