Very few new brewers. Heck I figured the pandemic would spark a new interest in homebrewing. It did not it sparked a home delivery boom and not just alcohol.

Sure the keep pushing stuff that you really don’t need and some people will always upgrade. They mostly make money on extract kits but extract brewing doesn’t require much equipment.

White film around airlock during fermentation - Yeast
2019年12月30日 · I just started home brewing and began fermenting my first batch about 3 days ago. I am making the Block Party Amber Ale from the Northern Brewer Kit. About 12 hours after sealing the fermentation bucket and inserting the air lock, I noticed a white film developing around the bung for the air lock on the top of the fermentor lid (photo attached).

First two were with a friend and were all-grain and complete disasters, last two were extract kits and were awesome! I realize extract are much easier, should I get a few extract kits under my belt and then attempt all-grain again? Im just wondering the logical progression.
