Change the size of UI? | Paradox Interactive Forums
2016年6月6日 · I'm playing the game on 1366x720 resolution (that's the maximum that my laptop can support). The UI is way too big and I'm unable to see the map clearly. Is there any way to reduce its size. I did a quick look around of the settings and didn't find any such option. Some help please? I am on a 40 inch 45 screen and the ui is pretty tiny.

2021年1月19日 · On my 28" UHD Monitor I have 1.7 scaling factor active. Overall a bit smaller relative UI than my former 24" FHD, but still perfectly readable in absolute terms. With 27" QHD monitor I would also try something like 1.3 scaling and check how this looks.

2016年6月21日 · Here is how to scale up the text: 1. Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Paradox Interactive\hi4 and open the settings.txt. 2. Change the line "gui_scale" to anything you want. 1.5 is somewhat common. I found 1.75 to be a good size. Happy gaming!

2022年9月18日 · My windows scaling is set to 200% as recommended in "Change the size of text, apps and other items" but when I do that and set HOI4 to the correct resolution I can only see the top left of the HOI4 display on full screen. As though the game is zoomed in.
