2013年1月7日 · Last week I was at the vet and refilled Honey's Heartgard Plus. I am supposed to give her a dose tonight and just pulled out the new box. It is for dogs 51-100 lbs; the last box I had was for dogs 26-50 lbs. Honey weighed in at 48 lbs last week.

I want to give only the necessary amount of Ivermectin (the main ingredient of Heartgard that kills heartworms) to my dog. My vet said I should give the whole 25# tab to my dog because we don't know how the Ivermectin is distributed inside the chewable tab.
