I had a HF drill press, after a year of fighting it i gave up, sold it for cheap on Marketplace and ordered a real one from Grizzly. Chinese made still for sure, but the quality difference of the Grizzly makes the HF model look like a childs toy.

2022年9月15日 · My new drill press station. How is that bolted down? Countersunk from the bottom? Wood is screwed underneath, there's a pretty good sized void between the top drawer and the top. I think they were talking about the drill press. Oh, it is getting screwed to the wood via the mounting holes on the top. Just hadn't done it yet.

2023年2月6日 · I needed a stand for my drill press and headed to Harbor Freight to pick one up. I got it home and built it. Then I decided to trick it out. It now has storage and a set of wheels. I think it's big enough for me to mount my drill press and mortiser on. I'll do that tomorrow.
Can't get drill press table to stay in place, anyone know a fix?
2024年2月9日 · I have a harbor freight benchtop drill press and the small table that it comes with will turn and move even when the bolt is as tight as I can make it. Someone might say "don't get a harbor freight tool" but I tinker, and a drill press isn't something I use everyday.
