They convinced me to put a little ass in it and get the thing to break loose. The product overall seems to be well built so I don't anticipate any issues as I get into some real sausage making.

2022年11月18日 · I have the Hakka 7lb sausage stuffer. Overall, I really like it but a lot of meat gets stuck in the elbow when the plate goes all the way down. That results in losing about 2-3 sausages worth of meat. Yes, I can turn it into patties, which is what I do, but I was wondering if the other stuffers do the same thing.

Bit the Bullet, Upgrading to 7 pound Hakka Stuffer
2024年2月21日 · So I just bit the bullet and ordered the 7 pound Hakka stuffer. I'm upgrading from the Lem 5 pounder. The Lem has been ok for what it is but it does not hold an actual 5 pounds (more like 4 pounds) and is slooooooooooooooooow with it's cranking up/down. I'm hoping to do some sausage stuffing this weekend and if not maybe early next week.

2013年2月13日 · I drilled four holes in the top, with the stuffer lined up with the short edge of the table. I use four heavy bolts with large washers and wing nuts, to tie down the stuffer assembly. The remainder of the table is where I put a large sheet pan with some chopped ice to catch the sausage coming off the stuffer horn.

Finally, the larger the amount the BIGGER these things get and the heavier they get so keep that in mind for lugging around and storing.
