Golgotha started as a quirky, progressive NWOBHM band in the '80s. After Dangerous Games was released, the band more or less turned into a solo project for Karl Foster. In 1988, the Orchestral Stab EP was released and the next year the song "Golgotha" appeared on a compilation album called Full Force .

BIO - GOLGOTHA
ENGLISH: Golgotha is a Spanish doom-pioneer band founded in Mallorca back in 1992 by Vicente J. Payá. In their early years and under a quite unsteady line-up, they recorded two albums (Melancholy-1995 and Elemental Changes-1998, both via Repulse Records).

Golgotha nació como un proyecto paralelo de Vicente Payà Galindo, guitarrista en una de las primeras bandas del death metal español, llamada Unbounded Terror. Para ello contactó con dos componentes de Inertial Mass y el vocalista Ramón López Massot (Amón) para grabar su primera demo en junio de 1993.
