2020年11月9日 · Can anyone look at the settings below in Fusion 360 to see where I am going wrong with my aluminum cut settings. I am trying to machine a simple rectangular pocket about 0.75" wide, 2.0" long, and 1.25" deep. My 3XXL has an aluminum extrusion bed and is also sitting on XPS foam. I have an HDZ which is trammed in using a dial-indicator.

For example, one source was advising that for a 1/8" tool, I should cut at 30,000 RPM with an 18 in/min feedrate. But on the technical sheet for my 1/8" Datron tool, it says to do 40,000 RPM with a 94 in/min feed.
