2020年9月13日 · I use the snipping tool almost daily for posting HW (I'm a teacher). Generally it is snipping from a pdf file (regular white pages) to my OneNote notebook. My issue now is with the freeform snip. Sometimes I needed to use the freeform snip because of some diagrams on the pdf file that I needed to avoid so I have to snip around them.

2011年12月13日 · When using the Snip tool, click on the down arrow and select the Free Form Snip. Then you use the Free Form and cut around the outside of the object and then you can paste the snipped part and there will be no background. You can paste into another picture if desired. Thanks,

2023年2月6日 · (Except as you said, Free Form Snip won't auto cut when used.) I posted about the bug in Feedback Hub. I did a Repair and then a Reset. Did not change anything. Personally, I would like the designers to simply add a cut option to Windows 11 Snip and Sketch. Thank you! I have other snip tools that I use like MS Paint and Infanview installed. Jack

2022年1月6日 · I use Snipping Tool often, and noticed that today when I snip something and try to copy it, it copies a LOT of white space on top, sides and bottom of the snip that I created. Many times I just copy what's on the snipping tool screen and paste it into powerpoints, etc., but now it is creating excess white space around it.
