How can I turn Ethernet extension into a WiFi Hotspot?
2019年1月4日 · So, 'phone line' to 'modem' to 'long ,underfloor ethernet cable' to 'acccess point on wall' to 'ethernet switch.' Modem transmits Wifi to front of house only. There is nowhere to put a plug in WiFi extender in the middle, even if the Wifi reached that far. How can I get wifi at the back of the house preferably from the switch? Sorry to be a pain.

If you want to cast your screen to your TV using Ethernet, make sure the computer connected to 2.4 ghz network wireless and also Ethernet plugged. That way, your TV (at least Samsung Smart TVs) will be able to catch the connection.

2018年8月7日 · We go into device manager & check updates for wifi drivers, we may need to simply update the driver. We go to Settings - Network & Internet - Status - Change Adapter Options, then right-clicked 'Ethernet' and disabled it. We do the same with wifi. Then we (with Ethernet still disabled) enabled wifi. It should re-connect to your wifi after a while.
