2010年7月22日 · So I'm looking at the 'Duralast Gold' battery from AutoZone. Seems like a decent battery, with a 3 year full replacement and then a 2 year pro-rate from year 3 to year 5. The OEM battery is a Group 27F (710 CCA), so I want to maintain that larger 27F size, and the Duralast Gold does have one in that group size for $133.

2013年7月31日 · My options are the Walmart Everstart Maxx, Autozone Duralast Gold or Sear's DieHard Gold batteries. The Everstart is $99, Duralast Gold around $115 after battery trade-in and the Diehard is $99 after trade in. All fairly comparable. I also believe all three are made by Johnson Controls as well. Warranties are all fairly comparable.

2018年5月29日 · I bought 2 fresh group 65 agm batteries from AutoZone. They lasted till just past the 3 year warranty. I consider that junk as the optimas they replaced lasted 7+ years. That's terrible. I bought a group 35 X2 battery from batteries and bulbs or batteries plus or something like that. Cost $300 and I hope its worth it.

2012年4月17日 · I believe that the Autozone, Advance, and (many) Sears batteries are all made by Johnson Controls. Sears does have a platinum line which are AGM batteries and have a 10 year life, but cost $200+. my last two batteries came from Sam's Club and are made by Penn Mfg.

2010年12月10日 · To answer your question on Interstate batteries. I say they are definitely still good. That’s all we buy. We had one last 10 years and 8 years. Very good batteries made to high standards. Avoid their Econo Power line you’ll be lucky to make it a week on one of those but the Interstate line is great. That’s all we will buy from now on.

2008年7月23日 · Johnson Controls makes batteries for both AAP and AZ. The Duralast Gold is said to be built to tougher standards and specs than the AAP batteries. The specs are also said to be set by Autozone, not Johnson Controls. I have Duralast Gold batteries in my truck and gf's car. Both batteries have held up great here in the Florida heat and humidity.
