2014年10月9日 · OK so i see all the drip rails with pictures of the horizontal sections with seam sealer but what about the vertical sections how did those turn out with the self leveling seam sealer? I just purchased the 3m 08329 controlled flow seam sealer, that will run about 1 1/2- 2" on a 45deg vertical surface and self leveling hope it works out.

2014年11月29日 · I've had good results with lord fusor self leveling seam sealer. Got if from autobody tool mart for ~20 a tube. Uses a regular caulk gun and after 6 years in the drip rails of my '57 it still is holding up well.

2018年1月18日 · Use a wire brush to remove as much of the rust as possible. Then treat with Ospho or similar product. Then prime and apply the seam sealersealer then paint. Most modern seseam sealers don't require printing after. You can use Por15 too but you will need to scuff the Por15 so your primer will adhere to it. I can recommend Sem self leveling sealer.
