2018年8月19日 · Sorry I haven't been back with an update. So yeah, the Chick Hatchery bought the domain of the Poultry Hatchery. The PH is very upset about it. He was grateful I brought it to his attention. The good news is that the chicks arrived a week ago and so far are all healthy. They hatched last Wed and arrived Thurs afternoon.

2008年11月12日 · When I was searching all of the hatcheries, it seemed the ones that had minimums under 25 charged an additional fee for a small order. It was a steep fee if I remember correctly. Maybe you could find someone that lives nearby to split an order with you through a hatchery with a 25 minimum. I think you would fare better.

2017年6月19日 · I had a good experience with MPC and they were accommodating when I made a couple breed switches. That being said, MPC was fairly expensive. Cackle Hatchery has a 3 order option (I think it’s called City/Town Pullet Special) for a flat $50 and people seem very happy with the shipping and chick quality.

2011年3月21日 · California Hatchery has a 3 chick minimum-- I am not sure what the going rate is for shipping at other sites, but its alot more than the price of the chick-- I got 15 chicks (free shipping for 15) yesterday they are great. This Hatchery communicates by email not great PR, but they are efficient and responsive thru email.

My friend just lost (today, as a matter of fact), half of his flock to a neighbor's dog - he needs to replace them. We're looking for nearly grown pullets, as his were ALL adult chickens.
