2022年10月16日 · I have it and it blows away the camp chef in almost every way. The handle on my side shelf rusted off in a year on the camp chef (again only a hard cover). The front grease trap is not nearly as good as the rear trap on the Blackstone. Given the weight of the griddle top itself, I think it will get tiring remove a greased top to grill.

I've cooked for large groups on a big Blackstone griddle, and I see no reason to replace my set on top cast iron griddle that I use now. I actually prefer the set on top griddle for the ease of clean up, and storage.

I went this route for portability to take with us RV'ing and for greater flexibility. I went to the internet and searched. My Weber is 24†x 17 5/8†. I landed on the Camp Chef CGG24B Cast Iron Griddle on Amazon at 24†x 16†. It would really maximize my cooking area compared to my much smaller Lodge griddle. The Camp Chef got good reviews and searching The Pit forums a few members gave it the thumbs up.
