Understanding Diesel fuel with my sub compact tractor in winter.
2017年1月25日 · I've a diesel generator in addition to my tractor. The diesel generator has a 60 gallon tank. I put Power Service into every container of diesel that I put into the tank. Often just pump some out and use it directly in my tractor. You STILL may get some wax globs formed in your tractor's tank.

Power is often a topic . . yet a 25+ hp diesel in a Compact tractor and a 25+ hp in a SubCompact of the same brand should have very similar "power" . . so "capacity" is probably a far better issue as well as how much and how often can a SubCompact be used weekly or monthly compared to a small Compact tractor for any given buyer or owner. 2024年4月27日 · I have about 10 acres but only about 2 of the ten is cleared, the rest is woods. I have what I guess is considered a CUT, a Compact Utility Tractor, not a Sub Compact. The tractor is a 44 year old Yanmar and it has a front end loader (FEL). I would not consider anything less. My neighbor has a new Kioti tractor.

Kubota BX series tractors are smaller, lower, lighter machines and are the most refined of the sub-compact machines. Other common sub-compacts are sold by JD, New Holland, Case/Farmall and Massey-Ferguson.

2010年12月27日 · And note the loader isn't part of the tractor and is covered by a separate warranty, typically only 1 year. I would value the loader warranty matching the 5, 6, 7 whatever years on rest of machine a LOT more than 12-24 months powertrain on brand X vs Y.

Especially what the biggest task that you envision that you require the tractor to do. Oh, and buy an inclinometer. There are some nice ones for sale (under Safety) in the TBN "Store". :thumbsup:

Brands that are rated for this size. I have looked at couple different brands, but the woodmaxx 86h looks nice. I hate the idea buying self powered chipper.

2006年9月12日 · It should be fine for now, but I don't anticipate a $1000 tractor to last very long and it's only good for cutting the grass. I'm already thinking about upgrading to a sub-compact (Kubota BX series, Case DXE series, Simplicity Legacy XL or similar) with mower and FEL in a year or 2 to aid in landscaping and other projects I already have in mind.
