Sometimes i will mix in WBG weedclear with crabgrass control. This allows me to kill most weeds in the yard, including crabgrass.

2022年7月21日 · Yeah, if you have clover/grass mixed stands, I think these 2,4-D butyric acid formulas would be the best bet. One that I've seen advertised is Butyrac 200. These are a different form of 2,4-D. 2,4-D more commonly comes in amine and ester forms, but both kill/damage clovers readily as far as I know, while the butyric acid versions do not.

If there's something it won't kill I'll then do research on that specific weed. I'm not good at weed ID so I need something that'll work well on most things.

Actually, I just did spot-spraying in my backyard about 3-4 days ago for the first time this year. I'm careful to not overapply. Triclopyr is a slow kill and not for the impatient.

Usually two treatments are necessary about 10 days apart, and the clover will be markedly reduced about 10 days after the second treatment. A third treatment might be necessary.
