You certainly don't want to jack up the car or support it by the stamped steel lower arms. Placing a jack stand under the arms was basically just to catch the car if the jack started to lower accidentally.

2006年10月31日 · the only safe way to do it is to jack up one side and then jack up the other side. same for the rear. if you look under the car. right at the front of the door. there will be something called a pinch point. then there will be a bolt and then a 4"gap and then another bolt. place the jack right in between those 2 bolts. and your good to go.

2008年10月17日 · The best way to get the top 2 bell housing bolts is to take out the distributor and oil press switch. You'll need a 14mm gearwrench then to get the bolts out. Hope you have small hands. There are also 2 ground straps back there and the fuel lines bolt to the back of the head (all 14mm).
