2018年4月21日 · Bearing surface has less to do directly with inherent bullet stability (which is more a result of the combination of the factors of sectional density, center of gravity, overall bullet length, base style, etc., essentially what all goes into calculations for Ballistic Coefficient) than it does to affect pressures generated upon being fired.

You can make a caliber specific reamed cylinder to attach to the indicator stem and have the same caliber specific base to turn the Sinclair unit into a bearing surface comparator.

2022年8月7日 · Came to find out that the Jugg "Targets" were about twenty-five to thirty fps faster . Why was that , I thought ? The only conclusion I came up with , was having a longer bearing surface , the Jugg Target was getting a better "seal" in the barrel , thus the higher velocity . Of course ; I have no idea how one could even check that .
