2019年1月25日 · My primary had a blue primary spring with a small white stripe. Cam arms at 669/60 (60 grams). Looks like previous owner played with the primary clutch. Secondary has a white spring. Revs to 8400. Stock sled, are the revs too high? Still haven’t checked alignment, plan to buy the tool next. Clutch works great so far though.

2017年10月8日 · The main advantage of the 2016-2017 Team primary is better durability over the previous cat clutch. The 2018 Team primary is designed to run with zero deflection so the response off the bottom end should be better.

2019年10月22日 · I would suspect the clutch failure to happen more in the flatland riding areas where the clutch is more likely to reach overdrive and full shift out. In the mountains and tree riding, the riding is slower and clutch loading is more. Most mountain riders won’t even see 1-1 ratio as the sled is geared for a 72mph at 1-1.

2016年10月17日 · It all depends on what you are looking to achieve. At the end of the day the Team 2016-2017 clutch is far better. It will cost you over $700 to get the clutch with the weights, pins, spring etc that you will need. I would also recommend an alignment bar. Most of the time you can rebuild a Cat clutch for $150 to $300 and be good to go.

2008年9月10日 · 1) Clean crank PTO and inside of clutch with emery cloth. 2) Put small amount of WD40 on rag and wipe shaft and inside of clutch. (keeps from rusting). 3) Install clutch and torque to 55 ft lbs. 4) Back off bolt and re-torque to 55 ft lbs. Doing the above I never have issues getting it off or with it coming loose. Your results may vary.....
