2023年10月9日 · There is not much configuration to do once 7th Heaven is installed. You just need to go in the Game Driver settings to change a couple of things. Here are my settings to help you should you need it: "Graphics API", "Resolution" and "Window mode" you can set to whatever you want. Leave Graphics API to Auto to be safe.

2022年4月10日 · Also note that the "7th Heaven" folder in the Library path is not the 7th Heaven install folder, but is where mods will be installed. If you're still having difficulty making things run after this troubleshooting, set both 7th Heaven and FF7.exe to always run in administrator mode.

2021年2月18日 · Things to keep in mind if you use 7th Heaven:-make sure to install both FF7 and 7th Heaven outside of Program Files, as both can have issues if installed in Program Files;-make sure to always run 7th Heaven in administrator mode;-make sure to always use the auto-sort button when installing new mods through 7th Heaven.

2022年8月8日 · 7th Heaven lets you pick and choose which modes you want active. So you can download enhanced backgrounds and the FPS mods without changing anything else about the game. Still not sure about the widescreen integration though.

2023年10月8日 · EDIT: to give more info on retranslation mods: there are only two retranslation mods out there: Reunion and Shinra Archaeology Cut. Reunion isn't compatible with 7th Heaven as it is its own thing. It's pretty up-its-own-ass japanophile-y anyway. Shinra Archaeology Cut is the new retranslation that came out last year.

2024年10月27日 · There are 43 story text tabs in our spreadsheet, and this update covers up through 29. We also pre-emptively did tab 34 (Corel and Fort Condor Magnus Materia events) and tab 42 (Ancient Forest) so that's 31/43 done. The version number is sort of arbitrary until we hit 1.0. I just needed to pace them out such that the full release would BE 1.0 lol.

2022年1月31日 · It can't do everything seventh heaven can I don't think (but it can do backgrounds, some framerate stuff, black bar adjustment, and model/texture swaps, and I imagine this), but it always felt a lot more lightweight and foolproof than 7th Heaven, which last time I used felt really clunky and added a fair bit of startup time to the game.

However, you can get around that by unpacking the iro file and silencing those FMV-specific vo files in something like audacity (it's how I've been playing).
