1943D Steel Penny: cladding, wrong planchet or something else?
5 天之前 · The alternative planchets on the 1943 were some leftover Bronze planchets from 1942 that got mixed in with the steel planchets. In 1944 the reverse happened with some leftover steel planchets being mixed in with the copper planchets.
