2020年9月29日 · 8 GB's is what I would tell everybody to have as a minimum. For gamer or power user, I suggest going to 16GB of RAM. 32GB or more RAM I usually only see for people who are running lots of VM's, databases, or high end rendering type applications.
I have 32GB of RAM. My computer only recognizes 16GB of it.
2020年2月4日 · Finally, I checked my BIOS and was told that I had 16GB of RAM installed, despite having 32GB. I've tested each stick individually, and all of them show 4GB when they're 8GB sticks of RAM. I've scanned multiple forum threads on different sites, and the common solution is to check msconfig and uncheck the 'maximum memory' option in the 'Boot' tab.

2020年5月23日 · I was checking task manager today and with all of my productivity programs open and Chrome tabs, I’m hitting about 11-12gb of RAM usage. I can buy 16gb of 3000Mhz RAM for $85-$100 vs $160-$180 for 32gb 3000Mhz RAM. I think I’ll probably stick with this system for another 4-5 years.

2024年8月1日 · Basic summary - giving W10 more RAM, doesn't make it use the RAM (I'd hoped that more RAM might have meant less SSD writes). General observations, with 20GB RAM W10 sat comfortably at about the 75% usage level, and dived into up to 90%+ of it. Swap file was as needed after most of 20GB of RAM was used (minimum of about 10GB).

2020年5月24日 · Swap the RAM module in slot 2 with one of the others if the warning then changes to the new slot then that would indicate an out of spec/faulty RAM module. If the warning is still related to the same slot then a MOBO problem.
