2011年4月11日 · Autozone uses a Conductance tester which is the OE aproved norm nowadays It basically sends a small current in through one side of the battery and measures what comes out the other side Theres some advantages to this system - 1 - you can test the battery in any state of charge 2 - you cannot damage the battery with this system
Dont go to Autozone for Battery and Alternator Testing....
2010年1月11日 · For anyone else who needs to get their battery tested, make sure the employee types in the correct CCA. On my previous car, the guy just typed in a random CCA and the battery came back fine. The next day I came right back to the store and another employee tested the battery and typed in the correct CCA. The battery failed the test.

2024年10月16日 · Pull the cables off the battery. Test voltage. Return after letting it sit for 24-48 hours, it is still dropping. If no, parasitic loss. Maybe your fuse box is going south some how. If voltage drop, then bad battery. 2017, it had a good run. Batteries last 3 to 10 years. 5 is the average. My bet is a bad battery.

The fist second on a bad battery the needle would peg in the green then quickly drop to the red. While a good battery would hang around in the green a little bit unless you held the button to long.

Comes back on after 1-2 minutes of driving. Still notice rough idle especially in reverse. No check engine light. Only battery/ I cant get it into the dealership till the 22nd.
