You cannot expect benzodiazepine-like pain relief, it is much subtler than that, there is not the semi-euphoria and relaxation you get from benzos, but there is a very real anxiolytic effect. It is not merely an antihistamine sedative. If it were, you might as well take benadryl, which would be a waste.

2008年2月29日 · Vistaril is a fucking nightmare unless you're an antihistamine fan. It makes my friends and I horribly depressed and despondent the day after a normal dose, does not work for anxiety and puts me in a sleep coma followed by days of severe fatigue. Benadryl causes similar but less severe effects for me, so I may be biased in that regard.
