I understand that when Traeger's patents ran out that Green Mountain improved the design. As I understand it, since I don't own a Traeger, Traeger's work off a timer mechanism to maintain heat and add the wood pellets.

The fans also go on and off in the sequence that the LED flashes. The unit would eventually kick on after a few minutes of flashing and work properly.

I had replaced it with the folding shelf, cut the mounting brackets off. mounted a couple pieces of angle iron inside the grill, done. The way I have it if you are not careful the shelf will slide off the angles.

2021年5月26日 · Any pellet grill that uses a direct to the firebox feed auger is subject to burn back. You need to let it cool down from high temps before you shut it down. The only way this is avoidable is with a drop design firebox like the Yoder and some others use.
