ETW and NTW are very similar, ranging from battle mechanics to internal politics. But there are some significant differences. I'll summarize some stuff for you. Internal Management Taxes and ministers are managed the same and so is the construction mechanic except that you can convert buildings in NTW.

2017年8月16日 · I'd say empire. More factions, a much better tech tree, more factions and they all play differently in the campagin, bigger campagin map, and overall better battle mechanics (NTW looks ALOT nicer though). Napoleon looks better, runs better, has alot less glitches.

2020年10月18日 · Napoleon is basically an improved version of Empire with better gameplay, less bugs, better balance, more accurate to its period, etc. Only take Empire if you're truly more interested by that era or want more diversity in the armies you're fighting.

Napoleon is more polished, but Empire has a larger scale (maybe too large for it's own good?). empire has been $3.74 as long as a year ago, and is $5 right now. but napolean is at its lowest price, $3.74. but empire has 6000 players, and napolean only 2000 players. so if you care about multiplayer, empire is the better choice.
