Dec 12, 2024 · I agree! We had a 2006 Toro power clear with the R Tek engine, and it was a fantastic snowblower. Needed nothing but a scraper bar and a new auger in the time we owned it. I also have a Toro model 20684 mower, with the suzuki 2-cycle, and yes, that is a fantastic engine. I wouldn't mind picking up a CCR with that engine for regular use.

Dec 31, 2023 · As for it's plowing ability, this small blower does blow snow vey well at least 35-40ft. of wet snow. As for the battery life with a 5 amp battery, it only did about 1/2 of my driveway. As for it best use, it would be light to medium snow falls at the best, despite what Mr. Aloha thinks of Toro. My over all score of this snow blower, I give it a C-

Jan 31, 2022 · I have a Toro Single Stage (Model 38195) that runs fine but but doesn't throw the snow far. In fact, when it meets deeper snow where I would expect the engine to rev up faster, it doesn't. Here is what I've done: I've checked the paddles, they are not warn. I've checked the wear bar, also fine. I've replaced the belt, though it made no difference.

No.2 Ego Single stage 56v, Blew snow well until it stopped (weak battery) put in another battery and plowed well, (could use a better chute design) just not as good as the Toro IMO. No.3 The 40v Ryobi single stage blower.

Dec 21, 2010 · So far as my snow handling equipment, I have a late '90's 2 stage that's as reliable as the day is long, and I rarely use it, I think because of that. It almost makes me yawn when I get it out. So, I've also got a 1976 Toro Snow Master, that's a little reluctant to get going and I kind of cuss at until it warms up. But its a hoot when it does.

Jun 16, 2021 · the newer style tires perform pretty decent with no chains. the old style tires will move the machine but with the design they are more likely to spin on hills while pushing snow. the x trac tires like Ziggy mentioned are nice and grab pretty good. also i don't know if it is what tho holes on your tires are for but could always stud those tires if you feel like you need more …
