Damaged Pelvic Floors and Going for a Natural Birth
2011年4月7日 · With the complications I had during my first birth experience, assisted birth, episiotomy, and epidural, I ended up with some pelvic floor damage and a very, only slight prolapse. Other than some slight leaking during my 2nd pregnancy, it has never caused any real problems for me.

2009年11月11日 · Squatting/on all fours seems like such a natural position to give birth in as gravity helps a woman push baby out. As far as I'm aware this was one of the most common ways to do until some obstetricians back in the day thought it easier to use forceps on baby if women were laying back, and it quickly spread.

2013年10月29日 · I'm not sure if they do the glucose test in the UK, unless you have diabetes in the family. Could be wrong though I've never been tested in both pregnancies. As for the birth plan, I didn't get asked to complete this until my 36 week appointment and with the tour of the hospital, your midwife should be able to tell you about that.

Induction or c-section: which is the lesser of 2 evils?
2011年5月5日 · With a planned induction you can definitely still have a birth plan, because you still have the chance of a 'normal' vaginal birth. There might be some additional restrictions (i.e. if you're hooked up to monitors or a drip you can't move around as freely) but the rest regarding birth, cord cutting, etc, you should still be able to decide yourself.

Did anyone choose to exclusively bottle feed from birth?

You can give it a go and see.....I was told that even 1 feed can make a difference and I was in hosp wit a woman who had on her birth plan to BF for 24hours then switch. She had done this with both her previous children and the MW's were really supportive. You can decide EVERYTHING about bringing up your baby.

2012年6月11日 · My sister has 2 girls who are only 12 months apart. She fell pregnant 3 months after her first daughter was born. She didnt seem to react to it at all. Just shrugged her shoulders and said "oh well". My two nieces are very close. I was actually planning to do the same thing too. I dont plan to use any bc once baby is born.
