2009年8月22日 · I've seen a lot of people mention that they enjoy sugar free fudge pops as a means to curb chocolate and ice cream urges. I'm 4 days post-op and still on clear liquids. Are the fudge pops for the next stage, or ok in the clear liquid stage?

2009年8月23日 · The only thing I would caution, well two things. First don't have too many! :) Second and most important be aware that they may not agree with you. Those sugar free items have sugar alcohols in them. Early out I could not do sugar free fudgesicles or sugar free pudding. The sugar alcohols made my heart race, my ears would get hot.

2010年9月30日 · I'm doing okay with liquids, at least I'm getting at least 40 g of water in a day. I'm 5 days out from surgery and on the clear liquid diet but I can't tolerate any protein powder so focusing on liquids, mostly water and crystal light. I have had sugar free popsicles but want to try no sugar added fudgesicles.

2010年9月28日 · A few hours ago I ate 3 "sugar free" popsicles thinking this would not be a problem. After a closer inspection of the label I now know these contain sorbitol. Apparently sorbitol can cause all sorts of intestinal problems even in someone who has not had RNY!

2013年5月24日 · I bought some sugar free popsicles called Outshine bars. I just was looking at ingredients and noticed Sorbitol. I see on websites that sugar alcohols may give you upset stomach. Is that true of all the sugar alcohols or just the ones with the warning **may have a laxative effect. I should have read ingredients beforehand.
