2024年5月17日 · In the case of Snip & Sketch, apparently it wants to know how to open the file type ".Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App". I guessed I might solve this as I have in the past with more normal file extensions such as .log by navigating to an appropriate .exe file somewhere in C:\Program Files (x86)\ or System32 or wherever.

We have tried the following command via elevated power shell without any luck.

Every time I try to use it, either with Win+Shift+S or through the app itself, my screen is outlined in a yellow square like it's trying to work but I am unable to outline the section to be snipped. Booting up the PC, the app works fine when using it once, however after this one use, it does not respond anymore to anything. I have reinstalled the application multiple times, also I recently updated my Windows to the latest version so this might be a cause for concern.
