When the Mark 5 came out in 1954 to replace the Model 10ER Magna made adapters for the Model 10's to be able to use the SPT's like the Jointer and Jigsaw Saw made to use on the Mark 5. Upgrading safety on the Model 10's is also possible by adding the Upper and Lower Saw Blade Guard made for the Mark 5 in the 1970's.

Has Speed Changer, 4E Jointer, Jig Saw with lamp, a complete set of original accessories & much more. Model 10E's S/N's 1076 & 1077 oldest ones I have restored. Mark 2 S/N 85959 restored. Others to be restored.

2020年5月18日 · The newest (highest) serial number I have seen is 102459 (from Skip Campbell's list) and is probably very near the end of the Model 10ER’s production. The Shopsmith Sales History document lists that 117,197 Model 10ER’s were sold and that doesn’t include Fiscal years 1947 - 1948 and 1948 -1949.

2022年12月12日 · It looks like you have most of the basic parts to both the Model 10E and 10ER. Here is a little history for your Model 10's. Based on the serial numbers (10E S/N E-2390 and 10ER S/N 58599) they were both made in the Eastern Plant. E-2390 probably in 1948 and 58599 likely in late 1951 or 1952.
