2010年12月21日 · From what I have read you are supposed to slide the casings over the tube then tie the end off and start filling but most of the snack stick kits I have found come with 19mm casings and the charts I have found that correlate tube size to casing size say I need to be around a 28mm casing for that tube (midwestern research).

2015年1月2日 · I would not go with the 17mm. I would go 19mm or even 21mm. Remember, the stick will shrink in size as it is smoked/heated or dehydrated. Also the 17mm casings are a pain to get on even the 3/8" stainless tubes. I also like to stuff my snack stick casings pretty tight for the same reason. The 21mm is the easiest to work with IMO.

2022年8月2日 · Easy to use and makes a great sausage . Don't let the phrase peel off casings worry you . The sausage comes right out . The cellulose will stretch , so the end size depends on how tight you stuff them . These are all the same 25mm casings , Breakfast sausage . Just enough pressure to fill the casing .

2019年8月18日 · I dont know about anyone else but I have had the same problems with collagen casing that say they are for smoking. I use the ones for "fresh sausage" in the smoker with no problems. Also you could try a sheep casing. The ones I have seen in the gas station like what you described look to me like they are a natural sheep casing.
