SDR RTL NOT SHOWING ANY SIGNAL/STATION
2023年7月5日 · I am new to SDR, and few days back i received my RTL SDR dongle. However when i run the play icon in the screen (SDR#), there appears to be no signal or station even after plugging in the antenna. There is no spike at all except for the static noise. I have manually scan the entire frequency but didnt found any active station.
Any recommended SDRs for shortwave reception?
2021年4月6日 · I enjoy using an SDRPlay RSP2 device regularly for a wide range of signals, and often HF. I use my RTL-SDR v3 dongles for VHF and up frequencies ( 30 MHz and up ). Currently the RSP1A will do what the RTL-SDR v3 does and much more as well as better, especially down in the lower HF frequency area without the need of an upconverter.

I've had it working on Android, at least one broadcast FM station (93.1) and it appears to work for AIS (161.975 (Marine ch 87) and 162.025 (ch 88)) but the Android device has only one input so I can't charge and run USB at the same time.

You may get better results using this with scanner plug-in than using the SDR# squelch with scanner plug-in. 'Noise protection delay' This helps eliminate the crash at end of transmission. Don't use it if also decoding digital signals as well.
